As hookah devotees know, hookahs are not merely tobacco pipes; but rather the center piece of an entire sub-culture. For those of you who are new to the scene, you are in the right place! For the Hookah veterans: finally a quality magazine with a sophisticated, intellectual flare is here to keep you posted on all things Hookah! We are dedicated to providing our readers with accurate, interesting, and relevant information regarding hookahs, their cultural foundation, and the new subcultures forming around them all over the globe. Each month, Inside Hookah will be bringing you interesting information from inside the hookah world in the form of Hot or Not, The Scene, Flavor of the Month, Off Topic, and The Truth.

Hot or Not will provide reviews of existing products, announcement and information of new products, product comparisons, and current trends/happenings.

The Scene will cover hookah lounges; more specifically, you can look forward to: a candid photo gallery of interesting people and objects at lounges, lounge reviews, announcements of new lounges, and even hookah cultures in other countries. This section will also include a music section which will incorporate a review of a musician/group, bio, picture, and streaming audio sample.

In addition, no exploration of culture is complete without food: Flavor of the Month will feature recipes for some of your favorite Mediterranean and Middle Eastern foods and beverages, other international foods and beverages, and on top of that a fun mix of tobacco for your hookah!

You can also count on us to bring you truthful, reliable, facts regarding the history of hookahs. There are a lot of misnomers and rumors surrounding the history of hookahs and their present-day use. This section is dedicated to dispelling some of these myths, as well as providing helpful information about hookah usage. We will bring you The Truth about their history, the current issues regarding hookahs and hookah smokers, as well as other interesting spots of knowledge.

Inside Hookah will also feature a section of driftless thoughts where we will publish non-linear but interesting Off Topic information, which also will feature a game section.

We want your feedback too! Inside Hookah will include a section for editorials where we will publish your opinions, a Guest Writer Spot which will give you a taste of a great article written by a non-staffed writer, and a monthly Survey where we will ask your opinion about various different subjects: everything from best shisha brands/flavors, to favorite TV shows. We will also let you Ask Jeff (our resident hookah master) about anything you fancy.

I would like to take a moment to personally thank all of those individuals and companies who helped to support the first edition of Inside Hookah. Never before has a magazine gone inside hookah culture to provide a comprehensive look at the goings-on. Inside Hookah pledges to always provide legitimate information, obtain input from genuine hookah smokers, and to provide our readers an inside look at all things hookah!
