Smoothies are non-alcoholic drinks, composed of blended ice, fresh fruits, and juice. While many choose to add milk, yogurt, ice cream, and other dairy products, traditional smoothies do not contain dairy. In fact, the primary difference between smoothies and milk shakes is the use of dairy products. In today’s health conscious society, many smoothie drinkers enjoy adding vitamins, proteins, and other supplements to this liquid delight.
