 Each package consists of two filters, a larger and a smaller, so as to ensure a perfect fit for your hookah! The filter is a diffuser, designed to increase filtration of your hookah smoke. By breaking up the large bubbles, produced in the water during smoking, into smaller bubbles the filter actually increases the contact area between the smoke and water. The larger surface are allows the smoke to deposit more of the nicotine, tar, etc. into the water rather than your lungs!

This product should be inserted into the downstem of hookah. In effect, the filter serves almost like an additional screen. An added benefit of the diffusion of the bubbles is less rattle in the chamber, allowing for a quieter smoke! The most obvious benefit is the regulation of the noise smoking a hookah creates, the separation and then collection of nicotine is subtle and hardly noticeable – the smoke doesn’t taste any different and you should still receive a nice buzz.
