Recently, a German heir to a manufacturing dynasty threw an elegant private party in Vienna, Austria in the Schwarzenberg Palace! Forty five of the host’s closest friends and family were in attendance, and absolutely no expense was spared for the party that averaged out to the net cost of a middle class salary.
| So where does one of Europe’s richest men book the catering for a celebration to end all celebrations at one of the country’s elite hotels? With Vienna’s crème d la crème caterers of course! Food Art is well experienced in serving society’s upper-crust, and has catered many of Europe’s high society events. The high end Vienna-based catering company performed magic with the party’s cuisine and adornments. The affair was an experience that none of the guests will ever forget! White Hookahs were served to compliment the white party and a light projector, placed outside the palace, splashed light on its exterior walls creating to set up the entrance into the Grand Foyer. The light from the outside spilled into the rooms through the windows creating illuminating effects on the plush walls of the Palace. All of the furniture pieces were wrapped in carefully selected soft white fabric and topped with fresh white flowers. As if the tastefully decorated furniture was not striking enough, the floor was littered with silky white fresh petals; All together, the entrance was breathtaking! To say that the foyer paled in comparison to the dining hall is an understatement: The hall housed a massive table, comfortably seating up to 22 people on both sides (a sum of 44), and was decorated with ceramic ware constructed by the hand of an Italian artisan (Rina Menardi). The glass and flatware, which were not overly flashy but befitting of the occasion straddled pomegranates, which were perched on top of the place setting and had each guest's name handwritten. The party was certainly an affair that will be difficult for the rest of Europe’s elite to match! Additional photographs of the event may be viewed at the following link: Food Art - Schwarzenberg | |
